AIM
The study is a prospective,
consecutive, European, multicentre study to follow a cohort of infants born
from mothers with antiphospholipid syndrome (APS) from birth to the age of 5
years. The register will include all the consecutive infants born in a maternity
from mothers with APS. Data will be collected during 5 years, the expectation
is around 300 cases with a good European participation.
OBJECTIVES
1. To investigate the presence
of antiphospholipid antibodies in the new-born, and study their relationships
with the mother´s clinical, biological and therapeutical status.
2. To evaluate the antibody
disappearance and the antibody consequences on the child evolution from birth
to 5 years old.
